Researching Used Pickups

I have to haul stuff frequently for business, so I need a pickup.
My dad told me to check out Used Compact Pickup Trucks. It looks like a good option. Prices have really come down.
I know a truck is going to send up my gas expenses, so I figure getting a used one will help defray that somewhat.
