BSI CE Marking and Certification
September 13th, 2008 | by admin |Encouraging evidence shows that Europe’s new bsi ce marking system is fulfilling the industry’s hopes of a reduced third-party certification. The system has already made a mark towards the achievement of frontier-free trade among at least 18 countries. While the frontiers have been eliminated, national regulations have weakened. The old system of separate national regulatory approvals for each kind of hazard is disappearing, increasing the likelihood of having a one-stop regulatory approval. Though delays in completing harmonized European standards still remain a problem, one-stop approval is already being welcomed in almost all the business sectors except construction products.
