When to Start Using a Document Management System

February 9th, 2008 | by admin |

Most companies are still a little apprehensive about using software that is designed to automate the common and time-consuming task. One of these is the document management software. So how do you know if you badly need to use this software? First, check what is happening in your company. Are you hiring additional staff to manage all those hard copies? Are you buying more and more filing cabinets to store all your documents? Is document loss a common scenario in your company? If you answered yes to any of these, then it’s time to go and get a document management software. You will realize in the long run that you can save a lot by using this software, rather than hiring additional staff to do the manual work.
