Dental Insurance Fraud On The Rise

November 30th, 2007 | by admin |

Can you believe the current spat of dental insurance fraud happening these days? How it works is that the dentist’s office charges the insurance company for work that wasn’t done. They do this by coding the charges wrong, or even billing some work that was done to another patient who has total dental coverage. Unless that person has to come in and get some work done unexpectedly, the dental offices usually get away with it.
