The biggest benefit to all this is it can take only a few minutes to do this if you are using the internet.Don't forget to ask for any special offers if you are making a booking over the phone because if you do not ask, you are less likely to be given a discount and you may even find your credit card company has incentives with particular budget car rental agencies. If you are a member of the military or government, you may be eligible for discounts negotiated with a number of rental companies on your behalf.  As you well know, many companies of today use the help of  automotive sales software  where they keep track of their inventories so their car rental management would be just as easy.You would be wise to inspect your rental car before you drive off as you may find minor collision damage from previous renters which you do not want to pay for when you return. In addition, try to check out all the accessories, wipers, radio, brakes, seat belts etc, to familiarize yourself with them, and also to check if they work, like the previous tip, you might be charged for this if you don't inform them. As far as rental car insurance is concerned, check your own before you pay out more for the rental company's policy which you may not need. Even though rental car insurance isn't going to cost you a fortune, there is no point in paying it if you are already covered; even though it may not seem important, driving without auto insurance can land you in a ton of trouble.Always make sure you have auto insurance as the penalties for driving without adequate cover are severe.
