A home inspector checks out every nook and cranny inside and outside of a home, from the farthest corners of the attic, to the darkest parts of a basement. The inspector checks the foundation of the house to see if it is solid and if there is any wear and tear in the foundation that would cause harm long term. The inspector also checks for any insect of pest problems of any type, whether it is carpenter ants or rodents of some sort.
