Steering clear of phishing emails

Many people encounter an email that requests them to update an account. More often than not these are not official company emails. They are designed to have the same look and feel as official company stationary but are in fact cleverly designed phishing scams. You should always avoid clicking any link that requests that you update your details by clicking on a link. This will help you avoid falling prey to scammers. A little research on this will help you better identify what a phishing scam looks like.
