Who Designs and Promotes ERP Modules?

Several of the software companies that market Enterprise Resource Planning or ERP software, which of course contain Erp Modules are Infor Global Solutions, SAP and Encompix.

Infor Global Solutions now owns Baan, who was a vendor of ERP software.  Baan is famous for its 4GL language. This language is still said to be the most efficient and productive of the database application development platforms.

Another ERP software company is SAP, Systems Applications and Products. SAP was created in 1972 by five former IBM employees. SAP says that it is the fourth largest independent software supplier in the world.

Encompix is said to be the leading provider of ERP systems for Engineer-to-Order or ETO manufacturers, project-based manufacturers, custom manufacturers and Make-to-Order or MTO manufacturers. Their software packages are especially designed for companies whose focus is engineering-intensive.
