What is certain though is that the use of money was used in order to get around the difficulties involved with the barter trade. The ability to carry “value” represented by money instead of the actual commodities was a quantum leap in trade and in thinking. money history is not certain by any means. But what we do know is that quite a lot of cultures developed money independently of each other. The internet as well as books that you may find in your local library can give you more information on the origins of money.
