Good habits support good works

September 10th, 2008 | by admin |

We had always been hard working people and had been brought up to be thrifty. I had set aside a bit of money every year, some of which I invested in blue chip stocks and shares. These always returned a good dividend which I promptly reinvested. When I sat down with my broker to get an idea of how much the shares were worth today, I almost fell off my chair when he told me. He suggested that as I had never needed the money in my lifetime, I should set it to good use in my twilight years and after I have passed on. He even gave me the name of a trust attorney who would could help me establish what I now know is a charitable trust which will be in our names. Fame at last!
