The Euros History

February 23rd, 2008 | by admin |

Euros are the newest benchmark currency being traded in the money market. Euros were first used and traded on January 1, 1999. However,  euros history  goes back much longer than that. The idea of a single currency for Europe goes back to the time of Napoleon and perhaps even further back. Euros are the second most traded currency today, after the US dollar and the Euro/Dollar currency pair is currently the most traded on the world money market. Euros history continues to be written and continues to be studied. Money traders have a particular interest on recent euro history for the purpose of finding usable trends in the currency.
