Lap band surgery is not always covered by your health insurance. You may have to find an alternative for lap band surgery financing. Often an insurance company will automatically cover a procedure that poses a possible health risk (for example: a reconstruction or repairing a type of deformity). Lap band surgery financing may not be necessary if you surgeon will explain the health benefits of this surgery to your insurance company in a manner in which it somehow fits into your health plan.
