Total Hip Replacement Or Hip Resurfacing

There are two main forms of hip replacement surgery. The first one is the total hip replacement surgery, in which the ball and socket is completely replaced by implants made up of metals and other materials. In the other case of hip replacement technique, known as Hip Resurfacing, the inner surface of ball and socket joint is refurbished and no part is actually replaced. Your surgeon may decide the level of treatment required by your body according to seriousness of your problem.
