Interior design masters programs are aimed at graduates who wish to achieve a higher level of specialization in this discipline. An interior design masters program may deal with the design of exhibitions for museum displays, trade shows or other event; public environments such as theatres, cinemas, government agencies and institutions; commercial spaces like restaurants, offices, hotels, shopping areas and airports;  and domestic environments. Design projects typically cover the construction of 3D space, surface treatments, materials, lighting, sounds, fittings and furniture design.
